More Weird Stuff.. Advice Needed (3:15 Thirsk)

Following on from yesterday’s weird run of events (and luck), today I find that I have a £5 “Risk-Free” bet on  the 3:15 at Thirsk with Bet365.. I think that means if I lose I get my money back..

Yesterday, I backed Jalingo in the 6.20 at Hamilton – apparently, that was a bet365 “Feature” race – if you picked the winner at odds over 4/1, you got a “Risk Free” bet on the next feature race (Today, 3:15, Thirsk).

The trouble is, I have NO IDEA who to back! Any Ideas? Post a comment if you have any ideas!

  • Too late – the odds are shortening.. I’ve gone with Smart Alec.
The odds were 7.0, shortened to 5.5. (9/2) – I NEED at least 4/1 so I can’t risk it dropping any lower..

  • Smart Alec is a Non-Runner – I’ve just been credited. I need a new runner..

  • Ok. Green Howard it is, then. This was actually my original choice, but I couldn’t ignore Smart Alec’s form..

  • I’m also backing Bajan Bear in the 3:50 at Thirsk. That’s ALSO a bet365 feature race. I’m hoping to have “risk free” bets from both of these Thirsk bets.

  • Green Howard just won. That was a feature race, as well, so I should get another “Risk Free” Bet.
I’m now up to £96, with Bajan Bear still to run.

  • Bajan Bear just came second. I backed it e/w so I won..
I’ve now also backed THREE selections from Jon Roberts BB Bets selections. He DID explain to me that I was supposed to back AND lay these, but I used my usual strategy – odds>5.5, places >=3. Fingers crossed.
